How to use

The Scotch 70 self-melting silicone Electrical Tape requires a medium tension semi-overlapping wrap. If possible, used to connect terminals to final locations. In addition, avoid damaging the outermost layer of tape during installation. Wrap extra layers around the seal at the end of the wrap. Wrap an additional layer of tape around the entire terminal. For vertically placed terminals, wrap the cable 1 inch from the sheath and end at the cable connection. For reversed terminals, wrap at the position of cable sheath. When wrapping, moderate stretch (10%-100% elongation). Do not stretch the last layer to avoid warping.
